The adorable little guy in this piczzle is our son Bryce. This little guy is a fighter! He had a grade IV near-fatal brain bleed (stroke) the day after a perfectly normal delivery. Against all odds, he developed right on time and hit every milestone until he turned two. Surprisingly, we began to see his language development stop, regression in other areas, withdrawal, minimal eye contact, and flapping of his hands. At age 30 months, we was diagnosed with mild autism. The past six months, he has been in language and occupational therapy six hours a week. Last month after turning three, we added five mornings of ESE school to his therapy schedule with a fantastic teacher who is a behavior analyst and understands how to work with the children on the ASD spectrum. We have had our church anoint and pray over him and trust God to heal him into the boy/man he is designed to become - His will, not ours, be done. And now to the puzzle inspiration ... Our photography business, Artigraphs Photography, specializes in family portraiture. We thought it would be awesome to combine our photography passion and our newfound desire to support Autism Awareness. This foundation is notorious for the puzzle piece symbol. Clients and others may purchase a 8.5x11 puzzle through Artigraphs for $49. All profits will go to our Autism Awareness Fund for the 5K event in Spring 2017. The image may be an Artigraph or one of your favorite images. We are offering two puzzle choices: (1) Toddler Friendly 18-piece puzzle or (2) Family Project 48-piece puzzle. We had fun helping Bryce put together the 16 large pieces of his extra special puzzle. A HUGE thank you to the incredibly kind Piczzle staff who became our first donor for Bryce's Autism Fundraiser! We are super excited to be able to share our story to help others who walk in similar shoes as well as to help educate others to have compassion who have not walked this journey. May God bless all of our autistic children, adults, and families! Chris, Sandy, & Bryce Colter
