I retired from nursing after 40 years working as a scrub Nurse in the operating room. I was looking forward to traveling and exploring the USA and then the Pandemic hit and we all were thrown into quarantine. I have always been active so lock down wasn't realistic to me. I began looking for a way out and I found it . I started exploring local Parks in my rural area. I found the area I was too busy to see and appreciate. I saw how nature and the beauty was overlooked in my daily life. I began documenting my walks through these parks through pictures. I was never one to take pictures but the simple act of seeing a perfect setting and refuge from the storm of the Pandemic was what I was looking for and found in the parks of Chester County, Pa.
