Oct 2015, my husband and I went on our 21st cruise on Royal Caribbean. It was after that cruise that I got the idea to make a puzzle of my cruising memories. Patrick, my husband surprised me with our 1st cruise in Oct 1985, for my 35th Bday, 15th Anniversary and graduation from University of Md with BS in Nursing. Since then we have cruised the Caribbean x 12, Alaska x3, Baltic X1, Mediterranean X2, Canada/New England X1 and Trans Atlantic x3. We also did Panama Canal on Celebrity which is owned by RCCL. The idea was to take the puzzle to be completed during the Inaugural Trans Atlantic crossing of our cruise on The Harmony of the Seas. She is the largest cruise ship in the world. I placed the puzzle in the Card Room on Deck 14. My husband posted a sign: "Feel free to help Karen reconstruct her Royal Memories". Thus during our 9 straight days on the Atlantic anyone on the ship (guest, staff, crew) could help with the puzzle. My goal was to have the captain of the largest cruise ship place the last few pieces in the puzzle. The Harmony is a sister ship to The Oasis of the Sea and The Allure of the Seas. The 3 Sisters are the 3 largest in the World. On Nov 4, 2016 all 3 were aligned 20 miles off the coast of Fort Lauderdale for the first and only time for a photo shoot. The pictures aside show the captain placing the final pieces, "It's a Girl"... of my puzzle and the 3 Sisters in birth order: Oasis, Allure and Harmony of the Sea. And me and my "master puzzle maker", Grace on the balcony off my stateroom on Deck 12 of The Harmony.
